We had a lot of fun over the summer. July was all kinds of full of joyful busy. Brett's cousins came to visit from Springfield, we went to Brett's folks house for the 4th of July (where Hannah came from with her first ear infection), and my brother came to visit with his kids. Emma wrapped up dance and we continued to stay busy with pool play dates with our friends. I never dreamed that I would have the chance to stay home with my babies, and I never would have thought that I would stay so busy doing it. I am really very grateful for all of my sweet husbands hard work. I know that having me home is important to him right now while he is so busy, but I don't think he realizes what a blessing it has been to me. Crawling into bed bone tired every night really isn't that big of a deal when I've been doing everything that I love the most. Taking care of my family has been the highlight of my life, and life here in Oklahoma has been so fulfilling.
Emma had a blast catching up with cousin Ellie!
4th of July in Bartlesville! After some fun in the pool, we headed over to the Kiddie Park. I love that this sweet place will be a part of my girls childhood memories.
Sweet time with my family!

Emma loved this little dress and her green dress and her blue dress. I think these three dresses is all she would wear this summer! |
A visit from my brother, Justin, and family. We had a great day at the zoo. The rest of the visit was cold and rainy, so we had fun building forts out of blankets, making homemade pizza, and having fun playing outside and having root beer floats when the clouds parted!
