They REALLY love each other! |
Tuesday evening we headed over to our sweet friends, the Acker's, home, where they housed us the rest of our visit while we made our way around town to catch up with all of our friends and family. We met them at church, started in the same small group, became friends, and ended up like family. They were such gracious hosts and accommodated all of our late nights coming in, and even had a barbeque for us with the rest of our small group gang the Saturday before leaving! They have been such a blessing to us!
Thursday, Brett finally made it to town and met up with us in Louisburg at his family's house. All of his local aunts and uncles came over for dinner. His grandpa made it over, also, and both of his brothers were there! His family is so amazing.
Friday, we were able to spend some quality time with one of my best friends of 11 years! Brooke and I have been through a lot together, and have really grown up together. It was so good to see her new home and let our kids run and play together. Emma and Mason are just months apart and have been friends since babyhood. Crosby and Hannah are just a year apart. What fun it is to watch our babies be friends!
