December was so amazing. Having an almost two year old and a four and a half year old during the most magical season of the year is a special gift, and I did not want to mess it up! It was a house of glitter and magic the entire month. We baked, decorated, crafted, had family visit, played elf on the shelf, wore obnoxious Christmas outfits, watched Christmas movies, sang carols all around the house, went to see ol St. Nick.... magic!!
December 10, at just 12 weeks old, Ben rolled from his belly to his back, then just 10 days later from his back to his belly. On the 29th, he picked up a ball for the first time!
On the 3rd, Hannah did a #1 and #2 on the potty!
Oh, and Emma learned how to whistle!!
December is always busy as well. Between the Christmas festivities, Ben was dedicated, and I had to come up with a plan for Hannahs SECOND birthday!! But that is a different blog on a different day. For now... the magic! ;)

| This year we implemented the advent candle to our Christmas tradition. Every Sunday evening, we read scripture, lit one candle, and ate by candle light. The progression of the light burning brighter each week with each added candle, represented the light that Jesus brought to the world. The girls loved this! |
