November was a wonderful month! Ben started having longer periods between feedings, so it was a little easier to get out and about. It was also beautiful weather!
Ben started to really react to people and noises. He smiles so much, and really loves watching his sisters. At 8 weeks he was cooing at everything and everybody, and he started letting out the sweetest chuckles at 9 weeks.
Hannah's talking really has taken off, and boy is she sassy! She can name all her colors, she loves singing and dancing to the Elmo slide. She can jump. She gives the sweetest ornery smile when she's about to do something naughty with a sparkle in her eye, making it near impossible to scold her. She can also get the finger a swinging when she is telling somebody no. All of her joy and happy and energy is infectious. Just try not to have a great time with this girl around!
Emma is loving school. She loves to practice her letters and can tell me the difference between long a and short a sounds, and hard c and soft c sounds. She has always been about to sit down and concentrate well on a task. Emma loves Jesus. A lot. It makes my heart to happy. She will "read" her Bible out loud, and she is really learning at Sunday school with the way she is able to tell her Bible stories so accurately. I told her sorry after I had a tough day with the baby for not being able to do the things she wanted to do and just having a frustrating, no-energy mama day. So sweetly her reply was, "it's okay mommy, God just makes us that way, and He still loves us. And I love you, too." Her heart is just so precious.
We took full advantage of the beautiful weather! Hannah skipped many naps so we could play in the backyard while Emma was at school, and we had many picnics in the park, and weekends at the zoo. There is one particular duck at the pond that we like to feed. The ugliest duck of them, he wags his tail feathers every time you give him a bite. We call him Wags. The girls get such a kick out of finding him and calls out to him, "Here Wags!!"
