Sun and storms

May was beautiful... except for the three weeks of non stop tornado warnings, floods, and rain that came.  Between all of that we enjoyed the sunshine.  We escaped Oklahoma City one weekend and went to Bartlesville to hide out while a threat of severe storms headed our way over one weekend.  We also enjoyed a fun barn party at our friends house one evening complete with fire pit and marshmallows.  On Mothers Day, Hannah got a little aggressive during a game of doctor and tore my cornea.  It hurt like heck and I couldn't drive for a few days.  My sweet father in law came up and chauffeured me and the girls around to all of our appointments and helped around the house. Also, we got to watch our sweet cousin Melissa graduate from high school this month.  She will be off to OSU next semester and we will miss her so!

 My dad and his sweet wife made a trip down at the end of the month to watch the girls while Brett and I enjoyed a day out to celebrate our 7th anniversary.  I sure love this guy and all the ways he takes care of us.  He works so hard to provide for us, and makes it priority to pray with his girls before bedtime.  It's not always sunshine, but it is mostly.  I love the way God is blessing us through our marriage!
