Just lovin life :)
I think it's safe to say... I'm totally in love with life. I'm done with orientation at Truman, so I'm back to my 1-2 day work weeks. While I do really enjoy my new job, I've missed Em. I'm so happy to be home more again. I know the importance of putting in my hours though, and I'm happy to do my part.
My precious girl is growing up so fast and I can't get over all the new things she is doing! She can get from one side of the house to another in a blink of an eye. I see some serious baby proofing in our near future, especially with her love of stairs! She can really balance and stand without any problems. In a matter of weeks she will be walking. Oh, and we have SIX teeth now! Emma is sleeping like a champ. It is truly amazing what a good night sleep can do for you! I'm so happy to be experiencing it again :)
Two weekends ago, my family came up for our last Christmas celebration this year. We had so much fun! I love having a house full of kids! We had twenty-one people in our little house for homemade pizzas, hot cocoa, blanket forts, hide go seek, and presents. Emma just loved playing with her cousins and getting so much attention from great grandpa :).
This last weekend we didn't do much at all. We went to Seger's first birthday party (one of Em's BFFs :)), but we didn't get to stay long because of her cold. It was a wonderful lazy weekend full of hugs and kisses and downtime. I love my time with my little family. I know I am so blessed to have this sweet little girl, and sweet sweet guy who takes such good care of us!
That is about all that is new with us! I did get a new camera, so enjoy the hundreds of pictures below ;) Have a great week everyone!

Oh my gosh....Look at her! She is adorable with her many faces and her big bright eyes! She is just TOO sweet!!! I think she looks like her dad judging from the photos. Looks like one of her favorite toys was her new Doll! Her smile just lights up the room.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well - I am in the process of moving our family 6 miles down the road {uuugghh!!! packing is terrible}, so I am a bit in and out at the moment, but wanted to stop in and say hello!
Have a great weekend - great photos of everyone, and such great pics of the little princess!!
Thank you Sherri..yes, she does look so much like her daddy! They are two peas in a pod. I think she is going to be a baby doll loving girly girl. I grew up with all boys, so Barbie was always hanging out with GI Joe :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move! I'm excited to hear how you all settle in. Take care and put your feet up a little this weekend... I know you probably need it :)
