Last Sunday, on Emma's sixth month birthday, I finished my first "official" 10k. I've been running for always, but this was the first time I ran a "race" since high school. I'm so proud of my dear friend Cathy who is new to running this year and has excelled. I did not adequately train due to allergies/sinus drainage/colds. Cathy kept encouraging me though to finish our run!
Speaking on six months, can you believe that Em is HALF of a YEAR old!!! Our friend Chris came over and took some beautiful pictures of her Saturday.
Emma and I got to spend some much needed quality time with my dear friend Alecia and her little Cooper on Thursday.
And on Friday, my girlfriends from church and I attended an overwhelmingly uplifting Women of Worship. Our house is almost finished being painted (hopefully completely done in a couple days to take pictures). This weekend has been nothing but shopping and lounging. Emma is sitting up so well. She has her two bottom teeth. She loves to eat her food off of a spoon. And, she can take corners in her walker like nobody's business. What a joy it is to watch her grow!
Have a blessed week everyone!
